Date Formats
N.B. If you're living in Europe, you can ignore this whole page, as you do things correctly.
MM/DD/YYYY
What the hell is that all about? I thought that format was crap from
about 3rd grade on. It just makes no sense to put the fine section
between the middle and coarse sections.
For those who don't follow me, normally you would notate time from
coarse to fine units.
So, almost quarter after ten would be 10:14:59 (HH:MM:SS)
If we followed the same system for time as we do for dates (in the US)
you would get 14:59:10.
Can someone tell me how that could possibly be useful??
