Or IS it!? Yeah, it pretty much is. This does feature a poorly played guitar synth, though... so it is a stand-out in that way. If you were here for tension-building music, you already have this piece... Move along. ISRC: USUAN1700085 |

Very close clusters of tones bring the tension! And that tension wanes and waxes without notice. If you want your audience to be concerned, this is how you do it. ISRC: USUAN1700035 |

Watch the Video on YouTube Credit this piece by copying the following to your credits section: Crypto Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) "Crypto" Instruments: Flute, Percussion, Synths Feel: Dark, Eerie, Unnerving, Suspenseful Very moody little piece with some melodic interest. Tension could be high grade or low grade depending on your context. Waiting for a drug deal to go through in Belize? This'll work. Concerned about the health of your hyacinth macaw while waiting at the vet office? This'll work. Waiting for the OSHA all-clear at your box factory? This'll work. It is mainly about waiting for things. Probably not good things. ISRC: USUAN1600013 |

Watch the Video on YouTube Credit this piece by copying the following to your credits section: Final Battle of the Dark Wizards Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) "Final Battle of the Dark Wizards" Instruments: Synths, Choir, Percussion, French Horns, Trumpets, Violas Feel: Dark, Intense, Unnerving, Epic, Mystical Slowly building tension power that really gets going when the super gnarly drums kick in after the violas... sort of in the section with the trumpet.... then there's this part that's all like "AHHHH AHHHHHH AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" And then there's some more "AHHHHHHHHH" and then even more and its like a new key or something, and the drums are all distorted and slammin', and then there's this wwwwwwhhhhHHHHHOOOOOOOSHHHH!!!! and some more french horn majesty - and like another keychange or something... but definitely some bass drum. The big bass drum that you stand up and hit with a mallet... not the kind you stick on the floor... and stomp on a pedal that is attached to a mallet that hits the floor drum. ISRC: USUAN1500085 |

Watch the Video on YouTube Credit this piece by copying the following to your credits section: Destiny Day Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) "Destiny Day" Instruments: Synths, Percussion Feel: Bright, Mystical My work has been seminal in the development of 'structuredly-non-linear symmetrical-music', a highly intellectual, and rather repetitive genre. My newest piece studies, experiences and isomorphically dominates a variety of structured tension-hemiolas. In short, the method must never present the sound-world. I never examine continuities, despite the fact that any gesture or non-linearity can be, and has been interpreted as a rather orchestrally-monophonic set of 'canon-aerophones'. In my most recent work, vibrations, materials and rhythmic oscillations are all used within chaotically-transdisciplinary gestures, allowing the audience to improvise a variety of symbolic idioms. I am very much influenced by the idea of dismissing popular solos, particularly whilst combined with a highly polyrhythmic approach to spaces. Download comes in one faster and one slower tempo. Super chill - good amounts of tension with some glorious consonants. ISRC: USUAN1100877 |

It is dark yet playful in a sense. Good for fairy tales or light tension building. It has several small arcs in it - but loops back to the begging. ISRC: USUAN1100873 |

Credit this piece by copying the following to your credits section: Enter the Maze Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) "Enter the Maze" Instruments: Percussion, Horn, Misc Feel: Intense, Mysterious, Suspenseful A thumping bass note intermingles with metallic noises to create a feeling of tension and terror. Screeching synth noises enter occasionally, and after a shrill screaming lead, the percussion is sparse but nerve-racking. ISRC: USUAN1100782 |
