Instruments: Guitar, Percussion, Strings
Feel: Grooving, Driving, Action
RUN! It is the Hemiola Monster!!!! We just need to get to the bar! It doesn't seem to want to cross the bar! Oh my GOD! It has friends!! No wait, that's just a standard clave pattern... (no, I'm not explaining this description OR what is wrong with my head.)
Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Bells, Piano, Vibes
Feel: Bright, Bouncy, Relaxed
I say! It is such a lovely brisk day! Aren't the horses lovely? I mean... look at all the horseness they have! They are scoring quite high on the horse-o-meters today! Nothing bovine on this street, Nay! ... ... ... Wait... I was trying to make a joke involving a horse's "neigh" combined with the archaic positive/negative usage of "nay". Then everything went wrong, and I said almost the opposite of the intention. So, without the joke: Picture a street where the only animals are the horsiest of horses... No cows or pigs. Okay, there are two dogs... but one of them is pretty small... and you can see a cat in one of the windows... but MOSTLY horses. If you added up the weights of all the non-horse, non-humans in the picture, they would weigh less than one horse.
Instruments: Basses, Cellos, Violas, Violins, Flutes, Clarinets, Oboes, Organs, Percussion, Cimbasso, Trombones
Feel: Action, Dark, Grooving
This piece gets a lot of its crazy from the exposed dissonances. So, before you start going on and on about "wrong" notes; They are there for a reason! I'm almost sure of it. They really sound quite intentional. Why else would I write something like that? Totally done with forethought. Yup. 100% on purpose.
Instruments: Piano, Synths, Brass
Feel: Eerie, Unnerving, Dark
Oh! The horror! This is NOT a fun piece. It WILL make you feel like there is something seriously wrong. Did those veins on my forearm always look like that? I mean, they're doing a weird criss-cross pattern... and they look REALLY blue. I would have noticed that before, surely! I wonder if this has anything to do with the meteor that came down in Mr. Wilson's pond last night? Uncompressed download comes with 4 stem files in case you don't need all the creepy, all the time.
Feel: Mysterious, Intense
Intimate guitar dance piece, probably too rubato to be an actual Sardana, but it didn't sound enough like a Farruca to call it that. "Vaguely Spanish Guitar Music" also seemed wrong. You can download this in uncompressed format here!
Sheet Music: Available!
Warning - this is played wrong...

|Open Those Bright Eyes
"Open Those Bright Eyes"
Instruments: Piano, guitar, bass, kit
Feel: Bouncy, Bright
This piece is made up of three distinct variations on a melodic theme, and should be taken apart and used for transitions in a light-hearted short video. The first section begins with a bright, leading to the big push of the bombastic brass. The second section, beginning at 0:52, is the same melody, but only features the piano. This section is softer and lasts 20 seconds. The final section begins at 1:17, and ends with an excited flourish.
Instruments: Bells, Affected Piano, Strings
Feel: Dark, Eerie, Mysterious, Suspenseful, Unnerving
Spider Eyes is an eerie soundscape created with distant high strings, dissonant non-percussive piano textures, and alternately tuned bells. This piece features much sustain and space.

Feel: Driving, Aggressive, Action
Main theme used in two different treatments. Specifically designed to turn your brain around... one sort of gets lost in the fog in the middle, and ends up pointing the wrong way by the end. Starts with a very long slow fade.
