"Late Night Radio"
Instruments: Electric Piano, Bass, Drums, Synth
Feel: Calm, Calming, Relaxed
You know when you're at a friend's house overnight for an experimental airplane convention and there are people sleeping on various sofas, so you don't want to turn on the lights - but then you run your shin smack into the metal coffee table, knocking over 3 mostly empty bottles and somehow breaking your friends glasses? This music is the nice feeling before the coffee table incident.

"Night in Venice"
Instruments: Alto Sax, Electric Piano, Bass, Drums
Feel: Calm, Grooving, Relaxed
Just your run of the mill nice jazz; processed to sound a lot older than it is.
Instruments: Choir, Flute, Basses, Cellos
Feel: Mystical, Somber
This piece gives me the feels. Remember that episode in Game of Thrones where the dead were coming to Winterfell, but they'd be there later... so everyone is just waiting. Cleaning the horses, eating cold soup, hugging friends, stacking wood. There is deep sadness in there. That's this piece.
Instruments: Synths, Guitar
Feel: Calm, Grooving, Mysterious
There is a mystery that is unfolding, unraveling, being solved, confounding, being thought about, being copied, demanding attention, delighting, comforting, and feeding the dog treats that look like sausages and get your hands all oily. Best for: Feature films where the protagonist thinks about a hard problem while walking at night in the neon-bathed entertainment district in Osaka in the rain in 1994.
Instruments: Synths, Electric Piano
Feel: Calming, Relaxed
Imagine yourself floating in a beautiful sky, the aggressive badgers of the land do not bother you here at all. Todd from HR doesn't try to make small talk with you in this place, nor does he try to invite you to his kid's wrestling tournament that is being held at a school 90 minutes away. The coyote-lizards of your night terrors do not roam here, and you can clearly read the expiration dates on all your packages. Even the hand soap. Why does the hand soap have an expiration date? It matters not.
Instruments: Drums, Bass, Vibraphone, Guitar, Trumpet, Trombones, Violins, Other
Feel: Calming, Relaxed, Unnerving
Welcome to the tropical paradise of Port Horizon. Not much to do here but listen to the short wave radios and play guitar. There is also food and drinks with those little umbrellas... Other than that - not much. Except snorkeling. Snorkeling is pretty cool. Oh, there is also Art Night on Tuesday - where you get a volleyball and some paints and make yourself a friend! Beach chess... I forgot about Beach Chess. Don't play white against Todd, though - he plays all-Hedgehog all the time. Come on, Todd - just once, seriously ONCE could you play King's Indian or... you know what? I'd even take the French Defence; Exchange Variation, you boring symmetrical jerk.
Instruments: Piano, Synths, Brass
Feel: Eerie, Unnerving, Dark
Oh! The horror! This is NOT a fun piece. It WILL make you feel like there is something seriously wrong. Did those veins on my forearm always look like that? I mean, they're doing a weird criss-cross pattern... and they look REALLY blue. I would have noticed that before, surely! I wonder if this has anything to do with the meteor that came down in Mr. Wilson's pond last night? Uncompressed download comes with 4 stem files in case you don't need all the creepy, all the time.
|Thief in the Night
"Thief in the Night"
Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Organ
Feel: Grooving, Relaxed
Laid-back, grooving, and cool. Did I mention cool? You need a cool piece. That is a statement you NEED a cool piece. Lucky for you, this IS a cool piece. Super clean production will allow this piece to fit into most things. I'd personally use this piece for a super badass character.
Instruments: Piano, Strings
Feel: Calming, Mystical, Relaxed, Somber
Minimal and somewhat droney in parts, this has a beautiful calmness about it. You can use it to sell anti-depressants or high performance automobile parts. Also useful for time-lapse photography of the night sky... or maybe a rocket launch.
Instruments: Lute, Cellos, Basses, Penny Whistle
Feel: Dark, Somber, Mystical
We've all been there. It is a little sad, a little hopeful... like when you finally set your rescue owl back into the world. You're sad to see her go, but you hope for the best. You've done all you can inside... her wings work pretty well now, and she can snatch the mice from your living room floor even when you put in a bunch of fake plants in the way to give the prey cover. Nothing to do now but hope Blossom can rule the night as you hoped she one day would. Also... time to buy a bunch of mousetraps.
Instruments: Chimes, Sleigh Bells, Drums, Synths
Feel: Bright, Uplifting
I was commissioned to do some music for the play "Twas The Night Before Christmas" by Ken Ludwig. The mp3 download here is the main holiday-themed rap from near the end of the play. The uncompressed download comes with that as well as the Girl/Mouse rap from earlier in the play - which you can hear on Soundcloud as "La Souris". The full download also has the exciting fanfare intros to the holiday rap.
