Hex packed circles are cool. Really cool. Cooler than discs. I was about to mention a famous logo that uses circles. Then I remembered how often they sue people. Now I'm just annoyed at the concept of international athletic competition. Just so you know: My annoyance with international athletic competition has nothing to do with a famous logo made of circles. Both thoughts were contained in the same paragraph, sure - but it is perfectly fine for two completely unrelated subjects to coexist.
