Instruments: Choir, Glockenspiel, Trumpets, Trombones, Tubas, Percussion
Feel: Driving, Epic, Mystical
The portal to my wizarding school is at the back of a payday loan place in Windsor, Ontario. It isn't quite as cool as that magic train station, but the loan place is open late. There is also a Tim Hortons across the street. So that's nice.

Do you have recurring dreams of being an industrial roomba working in an ore processing facility? Do you make fantasy paintings and need some music for timelapses? Do you go jog-hopping in low-gravity post-apocalyptic environments? Do you have opinions about eggs? Are you a monster who is in charge of other monsters? Did you work on a top-hat/sombrero assembly line? Are you starting a ferry line on the river Acheron to compete with Charon? Are you drafting epic legislation? Do you enjoy hitting dumpsters with sticks?
|Hiding Your Reality
"Hiding Your Reality"
Instruments: Percussion, Synths, Brass, Tuba, Euphonium, Bass Trombone, Trombone, French Horn, Trumpet
Feel: Action, Driving, Epic
It hurts my brain to switch from english words to symbols. Try to read these words and symbols out loud quickly: hyphen-slash-backslash/dash/-\hyphen//hashtag_octothorpe#- Crazy, right? That had nothing to do with this piece of music. I'm just sharing.
Instruments: Percussion, Basses, Bass Clarinet, Tubas, Trombones, Clarinets, Flutes, Oboes, French Horns
Feel: Dark, Driving, Epic
I like the waterphone in this piece. It is a bunch of metal tubes welded together, and played with a bow. It is that creepy high-pitched thing you hear in horror movies all the time.
Instruments: Shakuhachi, Koto, Bansuri, Percussion, Synths
Feel: Mystical, Eerie, Epic
So, you got an action movie set in India with an awesome badass antihero who just kills people with her mind. Boy, have I got the music for your introductory scene! Serious badassery going down here. This piece is sharp and crisp and just cool.
Instruments: Guitar, Choir, Percussion, Basses, Cellos, Violas, Violins
Feel: Action, Epic, Intense
This piece starts BIG. Originally, this piece started slowly and built... and then I got bored and chopped out all the slowness. There are still dynamics, but if you need bigness from the get-go - here's what you get! Vroom! BIG BIG BIG! Could be too big. Could be. Probably isn't. You can download this in uncompressed format here. Download comes with individual tracks so you can make your own mixes.
Instruments: Violins, Violas, Cellos, Basses, Flutes, French Horns, Trombones, Tuba, Percussion, Piano
Feel: Action, Epic, Intense, Suspenseful
Starts small, gets big... then smaller, then REALLY big... then small again. Kind of like a turtle. Actually, it is entirely possible that I just kept seeing different turtles. I mean, they all sort of look like turtles; I wasn't tagging them or marking them with chalk or anything. Chalk will probably just wash off in the pond anyway. Oh! Kind of like a puffer fish! Like a musical puffer fish! Perfect. You can download this in uncompressed format here. Download comes with individual tracks so you can make your own mixes.
|Curse of the Scarab
"Curse of the Scarab"
Instruments: Xylophone, English Horn, Oboe, Bass Clarinet, Flutes, French Horn, Basses, Cellos, Percussion
Feel: Dark, Epic, Action, Driving
Five! Five full minutes of battle fighting action bits with a bit of an Egyptian flair! For some reason I associate English horn with desert nomads. There must have been some cultural reference in my youth to that effect. Super crazy awesome brass is super crazy awesome... wait for it... you'll be glad you did! |Final Battle of the Dark Wizards
"Final Battle of the Dark Wizards"
Instruments: Synths, Choir, Percussion, French Horns, Trumpets, Violas
Feel: Dark, Intense, Unnerving, Epic, Mystical
Slowly building tension power that really gets going when the super gnarly drums kick in after the violas... sort of in the section with the trumpet.... then there's this part that's all like "AHHHH AHHHHHH AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" And then there's some more "AHHHHHHHHH" and then even more and its like a new key or something, and the drums are all distorted and slammin', and then there's this wwwwwwhhhhHHHHHOOOOOOOSHHHH!!!! and some more french horn majesty - and like another keychange or something... but definitely some bass drum. The big bass drum that you stand up and hit with a mallet... not the kind you stick on the floor... and stomp on a pedal that is attached to a mallet that hits the floor drum. You can download this in uncompressed format here. Download comes with individual tracks so you can make your own mixes.
|The Curtain Rises
"The Curtain Rises"

Action-y intense like percussion based piece. Need to defuse a bomb while riding in a pedi-cab? This should work well for that. Or anything where tension needs to be maintained. You can download this in uncompressed format here! Download comes with individual tracks so you can make your own mixes.
