Instruments: Bass, Drums, Guitar, Electric Piano, Uilleann Pipes
Feel: Bright, Grooving, Relaxed
You know what, I honestly don't know what I was thinking here. This is one of those "throw things at the wall and see if it works" kinds of pieces. It would have been completely uninteresting were it not for the Uilleann Pipes. Not a lot of music out there for bagpipes and electric piano. Consider the void filled!
Instruments: Drums, Bass, Vibraphone, Guitar, Trumpet, Trombones, Violins, Other
Feel: Calming, Relaxed, Unnerving
Welcome to the tropical paradise of Port Horizon. Not much to do here but listen to the short wave radios and play guitar. There is also food and drinks with those little umbrellas... Other than that - not much. Except snorkeling. Snorkeling is pretty cool. Oh, there is also Art Night on Tuesday - where you get a volleyball and some paints and make yourself a friend! Beach chess... I forgot about Beach Chess. Don't play white against Todd, though - he plays all-Hedgehog all the time. Come on, Todd - just once, seriously ONCE could you play King's Indian or... you know what? I'd even take the French Defence; Exchange Variation, you boring symmetrical jerk.
Instruments: Guitar, Recorders, Gemshorn, Drums
Feel: Bouncy, Bright, Relaxed
Picture a pixellated medieval village... cause that's what this is. It is the kind of music we think they played back in the day. It is not historically. But I'm okay with that, because we also didn't have lich-kings, lich-mages, lich-illithids, lich-warriors, or lich-archers. We did have lichens, though... I like lichens!
Instruments: Synths, Rain
Feel: Bright, Calming, Relaxed
The smell of a garden hose, that muted crack when you start up a glowstick, watching the sunrise with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice... all so calming... This piece of music is like that. Simple, bleeping, and slowly changing. Can you think of something else that is simple, bleeping, and changing? "an old PC speaker?" well, that's simple and bleeping. "EDM?" that's... bleeping and changing. "Hippie fashion?" that's... Hippie fashion? I don't know what that is. Well, it is long hair and paisley bell-bottoms and far too many beads... You just found the outside of the Venn Diagram.
Instruments: Synth, Choir
Feel: Mystical, Somber
Is it a real Gregorian Chant? Nope. For one - there are no real words in it. Honestly, I don't want a religious exaltation mucking up my fantasy world. So if you're building a historically accurate "Monk Simulator: Year of Our Lord 882!", just move on. The other reason this isn't real is I never learned how to read that notation. There are insufficient sticks for the rhythms in the notation... I know, there is a real convention that you can learn. I just grabbed a few pieces of the sheet music from the 1200s, and guessed at how to do it. Sounds reasonable enough to me! (says the guy who knows virtually nothing about the art)
Instruments: Guitar, Percussion, Synths
Feel: Driving, Grooving, Uplifting
From what I can tell, this piece has no genre... it is an odd mix of a few things, but not enough of any one of them to be considered a member of that group. So, when you find a new critter which is certainly a new species... likely a new genus... probably a new family... and seriously might be a order. It has an exoskeleton, gives birth to live young (asexually somehow?), has a beak... We recognize all those parts, but it doesn't fit anything. Might be a new phylum.
Instruments: Drums, Bass, Choir
Feel: Relaxed, Grooving
Cross Hip-hop with Shoegaze and what do you get? That was not a joke. That was the description of this piece. If you have a show that opens with a shoegaze band, and then headlines a hip-hop group you could use this as the clever bridge between them! Also, you should immediately fire the concert manager. That was a terrible idea. You can download this in uncompressed format here. Download comes with individual tracks so you can make your own mixes.

Southern trap influenced rap pile of musical forklift platypus... okay, I don't know what these words mean. But if you understood them - we're all good. You know what you're getting, and... that's all I can hope for really. Truth in advertising! You can download this in uncompressed format here. Instruments: Drums, Bass, Synth

Bit of swing in your rap? Sure! Why not! I like swing... but NOT TOO MUCH! Just here and there... you know, to alleviate the monotony. Sort of like that one teacher you had in Social Studies that unexpectedly did something cool - like play a game - but only twice a year... and they were both in the first month, so all you ended up with was 8 months of continual disappointment. Screw you, Mr. Meuller! I still don't care about checks and balances! You can download this in uncompressed format here. Download comes with individual tracks so you can make your own mixes.
Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Organ
Feel: Driving, Humorous, Suspenseful
This piece started its life as a random challenge on a show I do on Twitch.tv called "The Wheels of Doom!". The 4 randomized elements that came together here were: Drum Machine, Strings, Xylophone, and Comedic. I think it worked out pretty well! You can download this in uncompressed format here. Instruments: Bass Flute, Synths, Percussion

Wikipedia describes the Thunderbird as "a supernatural bird of power and strength". It will also ask you to disambiguate it from the automobile made by Ford from 1955 to 2005. I'm sure it was a nice car. I've never owned one. But there were a lot of them! The late 70's Thunderbirds are particularly horrifying... They had those headlight covers that flipped up... because that was a good idea at some point. But this piece! Oh! This piece! Atmosphere like you wouldn't believe! The flute is just so earthy! The organic drones are also beautiful. The whole thing is beautiful. Kind of like you went to an alien day spa in another dimension where days last for years, but you still never get all wrinkly when you're in the bubbly warm waters. mmmm... bubbly warm waters... with the slight possibility of a serial killer.
