Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Flute
Feel: Driving, Grooving
Before you complain about the bass, that is the entire point of this mix. It is scary-bass... yet somehow subdued. If this bass was a car, it would be a cement mixer... That's a terrible analogy. Forgetting for the moment that a cement mixer isn't a car... I guess they have the ones that are mounted on big trucks - and those trucks share a lot in common with cars, you know steering wheels, engines, tires, and the soon-to-be-anachronistic internal combustion engine. Anyway, if you don't like the bass you can pretty easily EQ it to a reasonable level, or buy the stems and remix it yourownself. Before you complain about the use of the word "yourownself", I wrote it. You understood it. It is a word. There is also some dreamy flute in here.
Instruments: Guitar, Synths, Percussion
Feel: Bright, Relaxed, Calming, Uplifting
Quite a broad piece. Could be used for corporate films of intricate industrial processes, or a flashback scene to the time at the lake a few summers ago. Maybe good background to your cousin's magic show at the last family reunion. Or a film where you do "industrial processes" at the "lake" with your "cousin". It is really quite versatile! Instruments: Piano, Synths, Clavinet, Percussion
Feel: Grooving, Mysterious
Dreamy and edgy; Not a combination you often find, and yet - here it is. The ambiguous and slippery nature of the piece are a wonderful thing. Perfect for scoring a character where the audience is unsure of them. Could be good? Could be evil? WE DON'T KNOW! You can download this in uncompressed format here. |Dreams Become Real
"Dreams Become Real"
Instruments: Piano, Synths
Feel: Calming, Somber
Beautiful dreamy piece that confuses times and spaces. You really just need to take a moment and listen to this one - because it is really cool. How cool? You should probably find out! There are a lot of extra synth things going on in it that are hidden in and amongst the piano, like one of those hidden picture books with 45 paperclips, but you can only ever see 7 of them. A dreamy, watery disco beat with a kick and snare that are slightly outside of classic disco. It seems like this might clear the dance floor at 3am.

Interesting mallet-only section in the middle that sort of has a dreamy-yet earthy feel to it.
