Prelude in C – Recorded on piano.
I have just gotten my new monitors (the Mackie HR 824s), and man – they are unforgiving in hearing every little tinge and issue with the recordings. Given that, this is probably the truest piano recording I’ve ever done.
You can hear a little bit of unrelenting percussive sounds of the hammers hitting the strings, but that’s going to happen when you have hammers hitting strings.
When I was doing research on this piece, I noted that wikipedia cited a couple of my works for organ in their article. Unexpected! :-)
