Cut and Dry

Cut and Dry – This is the second, and probably last (for a while) modern mix piece. These are remarkably difficult to do – and this isn’t even close to being “club quality”. I’m leaving this sort of thing to the professional producers in the future.
I would now like to exchange the compressors for my trusty reverb.

Cut and Run

What have I been doing? Production experiments. Modern pop music is something I get requests for – and the production techniques used are very dissimilar to orchestral productions, so I decided to try.
Holy man; they are very very different. This test turned out ‘ok’; not too bad for a first try. There are so many compressors in this project joined in crazy ways to help get this sound – and it isn’t near up to modern production standards.
Feel free to add your own lyrics and remaster this. You’ll probably need some more multi-channel compressors.

Full Blown Panic

Ok, Hurricane is coming to New York. I will not be responding to emails for a while as plans are enacted to save everything from flooding and starvation.
If you have a project open with me – it’ll be a few more days at least. Watch the news for updates to the city. Once transportation and power are back online, so am I.

A confusing idea

Okay. There is new music – but it isn’t here.
It is music that I wrote – but I am dedicating this to the Public Domain, so They are on the other site:
Oboe Rock Thing – written just last week.
Stratosphere – written in 2005; used to be on incompetech, now has a better home, and a completely free license.

Pod People

I have finally achieved personal cartoonedness.

Spiders!

Just when I thought it wasn’t possible to come up with a new style of basic configurable lines on a page, I got a suggestion for Spider Paper!
