Other Music!

Yeah, I can’t do everything. I do have a new sponsor who does quite a bit more. Bonus points for human readable licenses. If you’ve looked at sites that advertise “300,000 Tracks!” or whatnot, you’re probably aware – that’s not the best plan if you’re just trying to get your production done. Shockwave-Sound doesn’t do that (thank the gods). They have a reasonable amount of findable music.
I am not an affiliate for them – buy or do not, I don’t really care. But do go take a look. I’m here to help everyone!
They work with a smaller number of talented composers and release a few new hand-picked tracks each week, rather than allowing anyone to upload anything like many other sites do.
You can visit Shockwave-Sound.com to download more royalty-free music.

Fiverr Experiment

Fiverr.com is an interesting site. There are a bunch of things you can get for $5.
What did I get?
This: I will record an excellent guitar solo for your music within 24 hours for $5
The result is the end solo in I Feel You – a sort of dreamy 80’s fusion rock piece. Whoever this is did a pretty darned good job for $5!
Recommended!
And if you haven’t looked at fiverr.com for other things – check it out. Fun stuff.

Game Loops!

Today! Today only! Four pieces of music that were sitting on my desktop unfinished for a long time because they weren’t going anywhere… So I turned them into pieces that are designed to not go anywhere… Game Loops!
You can loops them for backgrounds to anything you like, of course…
I can’t figure out how to link to them directly – so here are the titles:
– Funk Game Loop
– Bassa Island Game Loop
– Wah Game Loop
– Slow Ska Game Loop
You’ll have to find them yourselves… Sort of like a hidden object game, but with text in a database… and without the fun.

More testing with West African Drums

Quasi Motion – I’m sorry. I don’t know what this is. It just got away from me. I like it… but I really have no idea what it is.
Slow Heat – This is a more straightforward piece that fills in a gap. I don’t have anything similar to this… I’ve been listening on repeat for a while. I’m a fan.

oops. Forgot to announce this one.

PseudoPolkas

Though I can’t imagine this ever being played at “Polka Days”, it is super bright and catchy.
How do you classify something like this? Is it a polka, or is it electronica?
I put it under “Polka”. Give it a try – you’ll be happy.
