Crunk Knight

The Kickstart Documentary continues!

I’ll be doing like… 5 interviews this week – I’ll try to post all of them here.

But let’s get to the new music!

Crunk Knight

You can download this in uncompressed format here! Download comes with parts on their own!

This piece was for the first week of a new series “Iron Composer”, a competition with a secret ingredient. The first week’s ingredient was “Crumhorn” – that’s the nasal-sounding honking thing. The crumhorn peaked in the medieval era… and then it fell into decline. It has a cutting sound, but I think it was replaced by instruments with a larger range. Because an octave and a half is… difficult.

The Project

The Kickstarter project for the documentary is coming along! Over $2000 pledged by 50 people! (That is $40 on average) But I’d like to see a lot more people help out on this. It should be really cool. I’m super interested to know what I’m doing for sure!

I recommend the $5 level today… Come one, FIVE BUCKS!? That’s like… not all that much – and you get to be a part of awesome. :-)

Take a look at all the cool stuff you can get if you pledge more than $5!

YouTube Audio Library

I’ve been getting a lot of people asking for YouTube channel themes… there is a wonderful resource for this; The YouTube Audio Library.

Go there. Download music. Do you need to credit the music? Nope! Need to worry about ContentID? Nope! It is a really cool deal.

Also, there are 10 pieces of my music which are there exclusively! So, check those out too (search for “Kevin”).

IN other news… AMA starts tonight at 8pm Eastern.

Unseen Horrors!

I originally wrote this as a piece for theramin, but I think it works better without. You can download this in uncompressed format here! Download comes with parts on their own, and also with the bonus theramin mix!

It Came from the Archives!!*

October (aka Halloween month) rolls on, and here are some selections from years past you may not know about!

Sure, its been done; because it works. Know who wrote this one? I sure don’t. If it was Bach, he was probably very young at the time.
Bach or no Bach, here’s the classic: Toccata and Fugue in D Minor!

Want to hear a piece of organ music that was certainly written by Bach? I give you the masterfully crafted Chromatic Fantasia (BWV 930)!

Need some spookiness for the background?

And some other-purpose pieces!
